Tips from Angie

Angie's List introduces non-member reports:

Angie's List has made exciting enhancements to the reporting process: We now accept reports from any and all consumers, not just Angie's List members. This allows service and health professionals to display robust service records while their member reports grow.

Some information about non-member reports:

  • Non-member reports only display comments, not grades. These give our members more information when making their hiring decision and add to our database of consumer feedback without changing the members-only grading system that has served as the backbone of Angie’s List.

  • This new approach will take the work out of the report gathering process because you can use the same approach (leave the same brochure) with any customer or patient, instead of having to identify which consumers are Angie’s List members and which are not.

  • You will be able to read and respond to non-member reports just the same as you would be able to respond to member reports.

  • Grades are still calculated based on member reports, and eligibility for advertising and the Super Service Award will not be impacted by non-member reports.

  • Non-member reports are not anonymous. We collect information and require authentication before non-member reports will display.

  • Non-member reports are accompanied by an icon to differentiate them from member reports, so members know they are not looking at a member report.
