Angie's List has added a new Keyword Search to our website to give our members another tool to find the right company for the job. By expanding our members' search capabilities, they will be able to pinpoint the companies that do exactly what they are looking for.
Keyword Search tool will impact companies in two ways:
1. The new Keyword Search should alleviate calls from Angie's List members asking about services you don't offer. For example, not all roofers do tile roofs. With the Keyword Search tool, Angie's List members can search only for roofers that do work on tile roofs rather than randomly calling roofers off the List.
2. Companies that thoroughly complete the "Services Offered" section of their company profile will be better positioned to show up in the Keyword Searches. Using the roofer example again, let's say there are 50 roofers that do tile roofs, but only 10 have identified that in the "Services Offered" section of their company profile. Instead of all 50 roofers appearing towards the top of the member's search results, only the 10 who identified tile roofing is in their company profile will show up. This will increase their likelihood of receiving a call.
Make sure that your company is accurately represented on our website to take full advantage of this new search tool. Login to your account using your email and password or your Company ID to check and update the "Services Offered" section of your company profile.
